HOT Beach Girl Academy
The Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) founded the Yeshiva High School
for Girls in 1992 in response to the growing need for quality Jewish
secondary education along the South Shore of Long Island. In 1994, the
school was renamed the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls (SKA).
HALB has been serving the educational needs of the Jewish community for
over forty years. HALB strives to inculcate in its students a total
commitment to halachic Judaism as embodied by the Torah and its Oral
Tradition, including a sense of identification with the State of Israel
and religious Zionism, while combining a strong emphasis on scholastic
excellence with a concern for personal growth and development. SKA was
built on this very strong foundation.
